The Boyle’s are moving to Swansea, Wales today!
We felt God speak a word to our family at the beginning of this year,
Genesis 12:1
The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.”
The implication for Abram is that he didn’t know where he was going, only where he could not remain. This was a journey of dependency on God and of faith!
As we chewed it over we felt God leading us to take a step of faith! We strongly feel USA but as we figure out what that could even look like and as our time in Doncaster has come to an end we’ve decided to spend this next season in beautiful Swansea, Wales.
I’m going to focus on completing my masters degree, writing and itinerant preaching as well as enjoying living near the sea and lots of surfing! Keira is due to have our third baby in December and we’re so looking forward to lots of time dreaming and praying as a family.
We don’t know fully what the future looks like but following Jesus is more like taking a little step and then another one, rather than having it all figured out.
The Psalmist tells us,
“Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path.” Psalm 119:105
Honestly I’d prefer to see the destination lit up all the way but God prefers when we can’t see the tree two foot in front of us because it’s a walk of faith and not sight.
