NEW DAYS = NEW WAYS

When the Israelites moved from the Wilderness to Canaan, from Process Land to Promised Land, God stopped providing manna and quail. The manner of His provision (excuse the pun) was different. That provision stopped and another provision began. The difference though, was that this provision didn’t come walking into their camp squawking “eat me.” It never flourished on the ground each morning waiting to be scooped up. Now they had to do the work.

This new generation of Israelites had a choice to make - do we repeat our parents mistakes and run back to what is familiar and comfortable? Or do we just keep walking with God and trust He's got this?

Maybe its your choice too? When I've been in unfamiliar places I've been tempted to panic and run back rather than press forward. Don’t PANIC and RUN!

Don’t go back the way you came. In an age of instant everything, where we want our breakthrough like we like our noodles – INSTANT, lets not develop a Christianity that:

Relies on IMMEDIACY from God instead of INTIMACY with God.

He’s with you! Journey with Him!

The leadership of Moses fitted the reality of the people in the desert.

For forty years they lived in the PROVISION but now they were to live in the PROMISE.

Joshua’s leadership would be a lot different because their new reality was about to become very different in the Promised Land!

Don’t get insecure when things that worked before no longer work today. Remember the golden thread through Gods dealings with His people is not to rehash the old, but to embrace the new!

NEW DAY – NEW WAY.

In the desert God did miracles for them.

In the Promised Land He did miracles with them.

When your breakthrough comes, be prepared for what comes with it! New day AND new ways!
